The CNS Certification Body ensures the impartiality of the certification process through:
- the independence of the Certification Body from the CNS department responsible the institutional inspector training/qualification
- ensuring that the examiners and members of Certification Boards selected are not involved in inspector training/qualification
- a Committee for Safeguarding Impartiality, with representatives of all the stakeholders in the certification process (Ministry of Health, Regions, CIVIS, Scientific Societies), entrusted with the task of monitoring the independence and impartiality of the CNS Certification Body, and, in general, the adequacy of the policies and resources adopted
