Egalité project is part of the EU4Health programme of the European Union, born in response to the Covid-19 emergency with the aim of strengthening the resilience of healthcare systems. The project, which involves 10 countries and 15 partners, including the Italian National Blood Centre and the Italian National Transplant Centre, aims to promote harmonised accreditation procedures for organisations that manage substances of human origin (SoHO), such as blood , tissues, cells and organs, ensuring access to safe, high-quality therapies, especially in times of crisis.
