The World Health Organization‘s guide on Patient Blood Management (PBM) is now available online. The document, titled “Guidance on implementing patient blood management to improve global blood health status,” was developed by an international team of experts coordinated by the WHO. It is aimed at transfusion medicine specialists and policymakers and will serve to spread best practices for PBM.
