NOTIFY PROJECT
In September 2010, with the NOTIFY project, the World Health Organization (WHO) implemented a database, the NOTIFY LIBRARY, in collaboration with the National Transplant Center. Since June 2015, the vast experience gained in terms of hemovigilance by the Italian blood system has allowed CNS operators to start contributing to enrich the library together with a panel of global experts. In the Notify Library are collected didactic cases on adverse events, reviewed by experts and identified mainly in the literature in the areas of donation, transplantation, blood component transfusion and medically assisted procreation, from which lessons can be learned for safety and quality improvement.
